Blueberry Scones

Okay, so it’s been a while since my last post. I know, I know! But, I’m going to try and just update a ton today so we’ll catch up to where I am now!

Blueberries. Yum!

Alright, preheat oven to 450. Sift together all dry ingredients. Then cut in the butter into the dry ingredients.

Blend the eggs and buttermilk together. Then pour it into the dry mix.

Now fold in your blueberries!

Drop whatever size scones you want onto baking sheet around 3 inches apart.

Brush tops with cream.

Bake for 15 minutes or until the tops are a little browned.

Yum! Enjoy!

  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 light cream, to brush tops of scones

  • In a separate bowl, beat together the egg and the buttermilk. Fold into the dry mixture along with the fruit.
